Flying on the slope
Someone said "If we haven't meant to fly, we would have roots". It's been peoples dream to fly since they realized the beauty of bird motions in the air. From the few photos left in the shoe box the most precious to me are those reminding me of the days when photos were black and white,
- the world was full of colours,
- the air was full of thermals,
- the slopes were challenging to launch, and fly high, so that you can feel the lift in the air when the airplane  was turning away from the slope up, up in the air ...
All this can only be understood by a person who once experienced this world, which is now lost for me forever. The slope is on the other side of the world, the glider is long time ago gone and the friends who were flying with me - where are they? I miss them most.
There is something special about flying radio control models - I can't explain it, you have to try it yourself.

Some more pictures from the slope near Hukvaldy in Northern Moravia, the birthplace of composer Leos Janacek.

Mountains - Beskydy's RangeHow many stories and poems have been written to describe the beauty of mountains. The words stay the same but the mountains always have a new welcome, a new charm, new surprises. They are always a challenge for those who want to conquer them, they are a threat for those who have no respect for them and they are a refuge for those who want to live with them in harmony.

Pribor - my birthplaceHow many towns are in the world?
How many of them did you see?
How many of them do you remember?
And how many of them do you love so you always come back?
There is certainly one deep in your heart - the town where you spent your childhood - the place of the big children's carnival, the place which heals your scars and revives your memories.
Such is the town I want to show you - Pribor, my birthplace.

More towns, more pictures - well not yet, just a link to a nice web site with nice pictures: www.vmp.cz

Well, there is no sea in the Czech Republic. All rivers flow into the seas North, South, East, West. Yet there are nice lakes and dams where you can spend holiday fishing, boating or just relaxing.
